I want a really creative experiment of high standard. I am a 12th grader and I have to do the experiment in the school lab.

field experiment is the research you go out and do by talking and listening to individuals (in the case of psychologists) to prove or disprove your theory or hypothesis. This is done by Psychoanalysts (Followers of the psychologist FREUD). This PA analyze their subjects dreams, childhood experiences by using a method called FREE ASSOCIATION)
Lab experiment usually happens in the lab with animals or sometimes humans in a controlled environment. psychologists use different equipments to look at the behaviours of animals and try to apply their research findings to human behaviour. This is usually done by Behaviourists who believe society can control human behaviour from a early age .
Ex. there is this psychologists (can't remember name) who brought in students from his UNI to watch a person get tortured for every time he/ she cant answer a question correctly. This is a lab experiment because it is a happening in a controlled environment in a room with a partition so the people can hear the person's scream but not the person being tortured.
i've no evidence to back up to say which is more effective but i think Lab experiment is more effective for psychologists not for other social scientists. That is because the psychologists need to control the surrounding in order to get their findings. Also, when psychoanalysts talk to people, they might not be honest or bring up a memory of something which really didn't happen. Not very reliable if you ask me.

Quasi E is basically an experiment which occurs naturally rather than by scientists in a controlled experiment. Even it is not done by scientists it is still contain the properties of a controlled experiment.
